How to make doll denim jumpsuit jean - Tutorial steps
1. First cut the pattern (Free pattern at the end of the article), then place it on the fabric, draw a mark on the fabric with Heat Erasable Fabric Marking Pen and cut off.
Before cutting the fabric, test whether the pattern is suitable for your doll. Place the pattern on your doll’s body to check if it fits properly.
2. Match the front pieces of the pants with the right side and sew the crotch. (Please check the front and back of piece)
3. Spread the seam and top stitch.
4. Take out the breast pocket fabric and sew two lines as shown
5. Then stitch two lines on the pocket as shown
6. Fold the breast pocket and sew it in the position as shown
7. Match the right side of the back pieces and the front piece together, sew the side seam.
8. Hem the waist edge piece.
9. Match the right side of the waist edge pieces, the leather rope and the pant together. Reserve a width of 1.5 cm, and clip the leather rope before sewing. Sew , snip at the corners.
*Please note that the length of the leather rope can pass through the doll's arm.*
10. Flip the right side out. Top stitch on along the dash line.
11. Match the back opening with the right side and sew along the dash line.
12. Roll up the pants and hem the legs opening.
13. Sew the inside seam and zigzag stitch.
14. Turn the inside out and put the metal buckle into the leather rope. Then sew to fix it.
*Please note that the length of the leather rope can pass through the doll's arm.*
15. Sew the fasten snaps.
